There’s NO excuse for laziness
Firstly, it’s been a while since I’ve personally updated the Lifestyle section here on 1MORE, or on the social media for that matter, but as you all know life becomes flooded and you struggle to keep up with everything. Well, 1MORE happens to be something I established from the heart to encourage you to stay motivated and constantly push yourself even when it gets tough, no matter what. I started training and building my physique at the age of 15/16, all by myself and believe me I KNOW how hard it is to push yourself at first. I started out at almost 6ft tall / 55KG, I was skinny. Skin and bone on my arms. Long story short, I just got up off my ass and started making a change for the better – fast forward a year and I had completely smashed my goals better than I expected, naturally and healthily too. Take a look at my youtube video that I posted during this phase of my transformation

With that being said, I also happen to be a graphic designer by day and publication designer, web developer & writer by night – which doesn’t allow very much time for focussing on 1MORE or my own health for that matter. Take a look around where you’re currently reading, all the artwork, layout and content, that’s all built by myself, no big corporate office full of a team like all your other big major brands. This brand comes from me, from Josh, it comes from the heart, my posts are raw, un-edited and un-cut – 1MORE is an expression of my motivation, passion and determination towards living an active lifestyle and I hope that these emotions are felt and inspire you to be a bigger, better and stronger you.

Now, as for my body – since my physique got to it’s peak in 2013, I’ve slowly fallen out of shape and slipped into an averagely built / lanky category. Due to the nature of my genetics my body just wants to deflate constantly until I am back down to skin and bones, in order to prevent this I ensure that EVERY night before bed whether it’s 10pm or 3am, I do some star jumps, shoulder press, squats, abdominal bridges, weightless deadlifts, bicep curls, push-ups and some air boxing, just to keep myself somewhat healthy and agile considering I sit on a chair all day. You can do the same thing, no matter who you are or what you do, there’s ALWAYS 5 minutes for fitness.

If you’re wondering where my time is all being eaten up – take a look at my design side of things here TMGD.com.au
and my night time side of things here automotivexcellence.com.au

I can not thank all of the friends, family and supporters that have grown 1MORE into this little fitness community / brand, I honestly couldn’t be more appreciative for each and every single one of you who goes out of your way to read this, like the posts on the social media and wear the apparel. I hope that I have helped inspire you, even if it’s just you, 1 person, that’s all I wanted out of this brand. I want you to wear the brand, be training with sweat pouring down your face, staring yourself down in the mirror and seeing encouragement staring right back at you – 1MORE. Always 1MORE.

Much Love,

Josh.

so you’ve probably heard people say these things before and you either A. had the intelligence to interpret what they said or B. you laughed and pretended like you understood what they said, when really you had absolutely no idea. **DISCLAIMER** If someone has called you one of these things and you had no idea what it meant, you’re about to, I take no fault for the physical damage they receive from your sudden frustration.

Prawn
A prawn is a term used to describe someone with a good body, but a sadly disappointing head. (just paper bag it or close your eyes)

Meathead
Meathead is often used to describe a meaty, well-built dude that’s full of himself in a not-so-good, ego-driven alpha male, a$$hole kind of way.

Chicken-Legs
If you have no idea what this one means, you probably haven’t been in to many gyms. When you see an extremely solid torso on a guy balancing on two legs which look like they belong to a 13 year old girl, you’ve found yourself a prime example of Mr. Chicken-Legs. If this makes you cringe and start looking in the mirror, you probably need to be training your legs more, NEVER SKIP LEG DAY!!

DoYouEven
When you hear someone start their sentence with Do You Even, make sure you’ve got your sarcasm radar on because most of the time they’re having a dig at you or just pulling your leg. DoYouEvenLiftBro, if you hear this, do not answer to it, it is not a question, just smile and maybe throw a chuckle in there. You can use the DoYouEven slang in every day life, for example, DoYouEvenCarbs, while you smash down a chocolate bar. Have some fun with this one.

Fuarrr
Fuarr, Phuarr, Faaaar, Fuaaarrk. For when F**k just simply doesn’t do it, throw a Fuarrrrr in there for some added enthusiasm. Often used when the male spots an attractive female, or before the drop in a song kicks in (because they’re both equally as pleasing). FUAAAAAAAR. it’s catchy, if you start you’ll never stop, you’ve been warned.

1. They’re very dedicated, determined and strong-minded people with a healthy blend of physical and mental health.
2. They will often have a good diet and be conscious of nutritionally poor foods. (them cheat days tho)
3. Exercise is good for the mind, people who exercise are more likely to have a positive outlook on life!
4. Due to their active lifestyle, they’re not going to be lazy and refuse to do anything that requires the use of energy (besides getting the tv remote, nobody likes getting up to find the tv remote)
5. They tend to have good sleeping patterns and don’t sleep all day, wanting to make the most out of every minute in life!
6. They’re probably going to be hot (or a really aesthetically pleasing prawn, paper bag though right?)
7. They will love food, food is love, love is good, food is better. Food = love. You see?
